My favorite piece of technology is my iPad. In high school, for a birthday my mom gave me the iPad Air, and for the nexts 5 years i really enjoyed it, like watching series and movies, doing schoolwork, read a lot of books in PDF, but what i liked most was that the battery lasted along time and it was much easier to transport it, unlike a computer. Over time, the iPad got slower, it had less memory spaces, updates were no longer available and the battery lasted much less and took longer to charge, when it started to fail i was just entering college and luckily i was working, so i could afford to buy another one, in fifteen hundred installments of course. I bought the iPad Pro with the pencil, so i could do digital illustrations and with a lot of memory so it would las longer. To this day i have that same iPad, it’s been with me for about 4 years now, i love it and use it all day.
I see you’re a fellow apple inc. enjoyer, makes sense that the old iPad became obsolete, old devises displays have at least less of the half of HZ (cycle per second) than the new ones, that means the software animations are not as smooth and fast the new generations, that’s why the iPad pro is a good upgrade and a save choice if you’re going to used it for illustration. Keep in mind that someday the iPad pro will also start to fail, and you’ll need to buy a new one, on the meantime I hope you enjoy while it lasts.
